These 3 cars make no sense – and yet they exist!

Of course, not every car makes sense for you, but there are certainly examples that don't make sense even after thinking about it for a while. Too big, too ostentatious, too much consumption or simply unnecessary – there are quite a few examples in the history of the car. We have selected a few pointless cars for you.

These 3 cars make no sense!

Some cars are built and actually no one knows what exactly they are needed for. We have three cars for you that we think are pointless. What do you think about that?

Cybertruck

Tesla Cybertruck

First of all, we have the Tesla Cybertruck – you don't really have to say much here, you can see the senselessness of this vehicle at first glance. It is currently not yet available in Europe due to various legal problems, let's see if that works at all. It is and remains a truck for large roads and for people who are particularly enthusiastic about the technology installed. The electric truck – although it actually only passes for a truck to a limited extent – is a rare species. With a range of over 500 kilometers and up to a whopping 850 hp, it could also be a sports car.

Finding sensible SUVs

However, it is not really suitable for working, because the loading area is relatively small, and due to its shape and size, it is hardly suitable for field or forest work. If you really want a work vehicle, you have a much better and cheaper choice. And the fact that you can theoretically organize a luxurious camping with the Cybertruck, have a camping mode for even heat for sleeping in the interior and optionally order an outdoor shower with solar panels and kitchen makes the whole car even stranger. Why buy the Cybertruck when you can buy a real camper for cheaper money?

BMW XM Label Red

BMW XM

If you really want to stand out, then the BMW XM might be the right car for you. This colossus is unnecessarily huge and so conspicuous that it is almost embarrassing. The illuminated radiator grille brings nothing more than partly amazed, partly stunned faces. Of course, you can argue that the monster SUV is extraordinary, drives sporty and is a plug-in hybrid after all. But why does a company that actually wants to focus fully on electromobility develop a car from the Stone Age in terms of motorization? The consumption is really high at over 15 liters per 100 kilometers, just like the electrical consumption with an enormous 29 to 33 kWh.

However, it is definitely luxurious and comfortable as a passenger, but there are still small things that should not be noticeable for a price starting at 100,000 euros. The rear bench cannot be folded down from the trunk and the trunk is large, but not well used due to the special look of the rear. Overall, the XM is a good place to show off – but what else?

RAM-1500-TRX-1

Dodge RAM 1500 TRX

In 2020 – in the middle of the electric car subsidy craze – Dodge launched a petrol monster called the RAM 1500 TRX. 6.2-liter V8 and more than 700 hp do not seem exactly environmentally friendly. A true dinosaur, as the name should already reveal – no longer up-to-date at all.

These pickups make more sense

After all, Dodge himself has now noticed that the RAM 1500 TRX is a very unreasonable car - because it was discontinued in 2023. Almost at the same time, an electric version was announced, but I keep delaying it. The electric pickup should have been launched at the end of 2024, but we'll have to be patient a little longer.
